Since our formation in 1988, we’ve been building our reputation as experts in distinctly specialized fields, representing clients from the healthcare, general business and real estate industries. Clients know that they can come to us with complex questions because we make it our business to know their business.

Our firm currently consists of seven partners and four associates. We’ve come together from diverse backgrounds, including professors of law, a respiratory therapist with experience in hospital administration, and a licensed nursing home administrator with extensive experience in multi-facility operations.

We’ve chosen to practice in a medium-sized firm where we can focus on certain types of clients, rather than certain types of law. And as business owners, we understand the connection between client satisfaction and success.

In addition to our busy law practices, our attorneys are active in community matters and are long-term residents of the Sacramento area. Several of the attorneys serve in leadership roles with social, political and civic organizations.

While our offices are located in Sacramento, California, many of the firm's clients are in other areas of the state. In particular, numerous institutional healthcare clients are located in southern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. We also provide legal advice to national healthcare organizations.

The firm is able to effectively serve clients outside of the northern California area in part because of a commitment to computerization and electronic information services. In most cases, the particular expertise of any attorney in the firm can be available for a specific project without unnecessary travel. This commitment also allows our attorneys to assist both local and distant clients more quickly and efficiently than firms employing traditional techniques.
